We organize Training Programs for Urologists in Minimally Invasive Endourological Surgery Procedures for kidney stones and prostate and all sub-specialties of Urology including Endourology, ESWL, Reconstructive Urology, Uro-oncology, Urodynamics and Andrology etc.

The training is conducted by a leading Urologists of India, having special interest in Minimally Invasive Endourological Surgery Procedures for kidney stones and prostate. Our Training centre is one of the few centers in the country using High power Holmium Laser for various end urological operations for more than 5 years. The Surgeons in the centre have already done more than thousand endoscopic operations for kidney stones and Holmium Laser Enucleation of Prostate (HOLEP). The Surgeons in the centre have special interest in Minimally Invasive Endourological Surgery Procedures for kidney stones and prostate. The Surgeons in the centre have vast experience in all sub-specialties of Urology including Endourology, ESWL, Reconstructive Urology, Uro-oncology, Urodynamics and Andrology.

Eligibility:

Qualified Urologists with MS/ DNB/Mch or Equivalent Degree.

We can offer 1 year Fellowship in Urology or can offer following short term Endourological procedures for training purposes for you.. This training gives you opportunities to discuss/interact and assist in the OT with Consultant Urologist.

Short Term Training Courses/

a. Uretero-Renoscopy (URS) for stone disease :

Workshop / Training (minimum 5 Procedures, duration 3 days)

b. Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL):
Workshop / Training (Minimum 5 Procedures, duration 5 days)

c. Trans-Urethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP):
Workshop / Training (Minimum 5 Procedures, duration 7 days)

d. Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS) :
Workshop / Training (Minimum 5 Procedures, duration 5 days)

e. Holmium Laser Prostatectomy (HoLEP) :
Workshop / Training (Minimum 5 Procedures, duration 7 days)

As a policy for ideal training purpose, we take a single trainee only at a given time to be trained, on one to one basis. The Trainee will learn step by step, various urological techniques. In course of long term training / fellowship, the trainee will perform the procedure, the experienced consultant and teacher  will be on hand to guide him at each step, and to take over procedure, if there is a likelihood of a problem.

You will be taught each and every step one by one and it will depend entirely on you how fast do you pick up and how many procedures you can perform with best quality / results confidently & independently, without any post-operative complications. Of course, our Faculty or his colleague will always be with you in operation theatre for needful guidance and instructions for complication management, if required, which is most important during training.  During training, you will also get opportunity to observe & assist many more surgeries performed by the faculty, with his expert opinion & comments
